TRE air locker differential developed by MARXXON mainly for hard off road driving condition and off road competition. The TRE Air Locker System is a pneumatic locking differential that uses a dash mounted electric switch to activate a vacuum diaphragm which engages the locker. The TRE Air Locker uses a small charge of air from an on board air compressor that in turn activates the locker. When activated, both axle shafts are locked together into the equivalent of a spool providing 100% equal traction to both wheels of that axle with no differential of speed between the wheels of that axle.
The MARXXON e-Locker-an electronic selectable differential, it designed and produced Performs as an open differential when you decide that you need more traction by MARXXON. The electromagnetic locking system is the next generation of aftermarket differential technology after MARXXON Air Locker. While driving under normal conditions, the e-locker performs as an open differential. If an obstacle is encountered – a rocky trail, muddy ditch or other challenge – the driver turns on a dash switch to activate the unit. The electromagnetic mechanism then locks, capturing 100% of the available torque and sending it equally to both wheels. A second flip of the switch deactivates the unit to resume normal driving. LSD(Limited Slip differentials)
MARXXON designed and produced the GEAR-DRIVEN LIMITED SLIP differential for Toyota Reiz Crown GT86 Subaru BRZ, Limited Slip and positraction (posi) differentials are designed to "limit" the tendency of open differential to send power to a wheel that lacks traction and redirect the power to a degree to the other wheel of the axle. The Limited Slip and Positraction differential will send power to both wheels equally when traveling straight, however when one wheel spins due to a lack of traction, the differential will automatically provide torque to the other wheel with traction. Limited Slip and Positraction (posi) differentials limit the loss of torque to a slipping wheel through various mechanisms such as clutches, gears cones, and other methods dependant on the unit. The limited slip and positraction will not provide 100% lock up of the differential in extreme situations such as when a wheel completely looses traction. Limited Slip and Positraction (posi) differentials are recommended for daily driven vehicles and are used in many applications where traction is sometimes needed as in emergency vehicles. They are also ideal for front axles of 4x4 vehicles that are not equipped with front hubs that can be disengaged. The term "positraction" ("posi" for short) was used by General Motors years ago for their limited slip differential and has been used to refer to limited slips since.
